“Mohammadreza Torkjazi is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the C5I Center at George Mason University. He earned his Ph.D. in Systems Engineering and Operations Research from George Mason University in 2025 and his M.S. in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University in 2020. He is an Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) certified by the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) and holds the OCSMP Model User certification from the Object Management Group (OMG). His research focuses on digital engineering and the development of methodologies for the architecture definition, integration, and evaluation of autonomous systems and System of Systems (SoS). His work leverages Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), and Bayesian networks to address challenges in mission assurance and decision-making. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed journal and conference publications and currently leads projects in MBSE and digital engineering for government and industry sponsors at the C5I Center.”
